Here's a novel idea - why not let's all work together. Create something where the total is greater than the sum of its parts.
Sharing information on Merchandise, PR, Social media & blogging help, copyrighting, band agreements, studios, creating a promoters/bookers database, insurance, CD printing, artwork etc., etc. Getting discounts where we can. WDFD is not handing anyone a blank cheque to record, just a leg-up with the benefit of collective experience and the potential benefits that can come from being part of a group of like-minded people.
Many artists are vying for the one holy grail spot without seeming to appreciate there is more than one spot available, and maybe we can climb the ladder easier if we do it together. WDFD is just a rung until the higher rung is attainable. If that sounds like the approach you would like to be part of then maybe we should be talking.
